Location: Metro | Hey guys was just wondering where you might be able to buy Knipex hook cutters in person. I live in the SW Metro of MN and was hoping I could find a store that sold them. I am having some troubles online finding the right pair in store. I am looking for the basic ones.
Hopefully you guys can help me out. Thanks. |

Location: Pewaukee, WI | no, but if you go that route you might consider :71 22 200 Knipex 8 inch ERGO HANDLE ANGLED HEAD LEVER ACTION MINI-BOLT CUTTER from Chads Toolbox website. It'll be 10 bucks more then the Sears price, but the spring action of opening and closing is a real nice feature. |

Location: Waukee, IA | Menard's carries them but they're ~$50 depending on location. Believe it or not, the cheap ones work too. I cut all of my hooks with an $8 tool shop brand mini bolt cutters |

| Spend the money on Knipex spring loaded... Not side cutters, they don't have the power for large hooks. Cheap ones work, but may give out. I don't want that happening if/when I do get pinned to one. |

| My cheap cutters is the Same as my dads. I cut several hooks with his in optimal conditions. I couldn't cut one hook with mine on a fish and I didn't ever use mine till then. Plus my Napa said they will exchange it forever as long as I have a receipt
And yeah I had a 7/0 hook through my whole hand and a finger... If a fish was attached to that I would probably be crippled and scared, lucky for me the fish got off the hook. |
