Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Anybody been after any after dark fish lately. It seems as if the conditions are perfect for it, but I have not had any opportunity to do it as of yet. Any one smacking 'em after dark?? | ||

| Norm, I have been out several times and have contacted fish all but one time. Unfortunately we haven't been able to close the deal. Fish have been on deep weed edges. They seem to want topwater early in the evening and the later you go it turns to a crankbait bite on the deep weed edge. I have a buddy who has been doing very well night fishing this year. Posts: 578 Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI | Hey Norm, Stuck a 39" last night at 9:15, but nothing after that. That came on a Jointed Depth Raider over 38' of water. I am going to try to get out more later this week and as much as I can next week. Let's talk at league and see if we can get hooked up. Chuck | ||

Posts: 516 Location: Kildeer, IL | We fished this weekend at night. On Saturday night, we got two nice fish. The first one came at 10:00, and the second one came as the moon was setting at midnight. We had one other hit at about 2:00 AM, but that was it. On Sunday night, we got shut out. The front that was moving in decided to head west at the last second. Here's a picture of my new biggest. It was a really pretty fish with no scars, and beautiful stripes. Pictures don't do this fish justice. It was about 23 - 24 pounds.
