| Anybody else have this problem when navigating back to the cottage or boat ramp at night? Is it better to shut down the unit and increase your ability to see after dark or is it better to be able to use your navionics to guide you back? What do most of you do? Is there a way to eliminate or reduce the glare and increase visibility at night?

| Brightness down and on humminbirds a blue background over white (standard) is better. Just remember once oarked to turn the screens back up cuase sometimes they don't start on full brightness. |

Location: Not where I want to be! | Obviously turn down the lighting on you unit or use the night views on you unit. I have also disconnected the gauge lights on my dashboard. That makes all the difference with night driving. |

Location: Oconomowc, WI | +1 to turning the dash lights off, I wired mine to its own switch so I can turn them off when I want. I also turn the brightness down on the locator and tend to use more bluish palettes. |
