Location: Lake Tomahawk, WI | Michael LaGrand and Gerry Frantzs lead after day 1 at the Madison Chain PMTT with a solid 48" and 40.25" double. Conditions lead to a total of 27 fish caught by the field of anglers, with the quality being more than anticipated (one double didn't make the top 10). As is typical for day 1 of a 2 day tournament, anglers were pretty tight-lipped as to how they were catching them, but did mention it was nothing specific and multiple tactics were necessary. Sunday conditions call for the same high skies but with more wind, which should hopefully lead to a good day of fishing.
