Location: Racine, Wi | To figure out how deep a bait goes, you have to find a certain depth in the lake, then let out line until the lure is ticking the bottom. Then write down the amt of line out, the speed, the type of line, and the bait. then move to a different depth and repeat. It is a bit tedious but, it is a good thing to do when the fishing is slow.
