Looking to update to an auto bilge pump and a 3 bank onboard battery charger any advice on these two items would be helpful.
Was up at lake of the woods last week during a 3 inch rainfall in a couple of hours and a continuous rain all night, got tired of running out to the boat all night to turn on the bilge.
Have two bank charger but found out how much the hard way, the two new graphs really draw a lot of power out of the trolling motor batteries when using the trolling motor in wind all day. So bought another battery for just the graphs. Hence the need for a 3 bank charger.
Thanks Kkrieg

Any chance you can add an automatic bilge pump in addition to the factory pump? Also many people really like to master power kill switch auto pumps. I've had good luck with minnkota chargers.

i have a dual pro 3 bank charger for six years with no problem but one bank is for the starting batt so maybe you need one for a 36 volts to get charging for 3 deep cycles .

Agree. Can't say enough good about the MnnKota PC series.

BTW, price at Hodges Marine is actually just $224 with free shipping.

What is your current bilge pump make and model? If you want to add an auto-Bilge, then get the same make so you can have a spare cartridge to fit either. You can add the auto feature to your existing by mounting a float switch and wiring into the existing wiring.

Dual pro, MinnKota, and Guest are all great chargers. All make 3 bank. I'd go with 10A per bank.

I agree as well on the Minn Kota Precision series. I installed the MK 345 PC (15 amp per bank model) in summer 2015. Incredible charger and super fast too.
