Posts: 299 | Just finished up 4 days Tarpon Fishing with Captain Jon Sebold and Captain Todd Hadley with SFP Fishing Outfitters! Epic trip! Actually....every trip with them ends up being pretty epic but these guys put me on the Tarpon again! I landed a bunch of fish up to 150/60# and hooked/fought a ton! We jumped so many fish I lost count! I think I landed 6 fish, hooked or fought another 20+ fish in 4 days. Just another great shout out to Captain Jon and Todd. These guys are the best! No question about it! I'm flying back to Detroit tomorrow and counting down the days till my June Fly Tarpon Trip. The only downside is my Muskie fishing is ruined....I've opted the last 3 years to skip the LSC Muskie Opener to go chase Tarpon on a Fly Rod in June. Much more fun!! Any Muskie guy that wants to just baitcast for them should give SFP a call and hook up a few dates. Worth every penny spent and them some. I love this Poon Game!!! I can honestly say I've never had more fun in a boat fishing then I do with Jon or Todd! Nothing really compares in the angling world. Your chasing the most sought after fish on the planet in skinny water on light tackle and will jump, fight and give you a serious challenge! It's the ultimate anglers dream! Shout out to Jon and Todd! You gentlemen define guiding and certainly define angling!

Posts: 1023 | Muskie fishing is the pinnacle of freshwater fishing IMO. But saltwater flyfishing is so much better. IMO.

Posts: 299 | 4 days of fishing is approx $3,360.00. That is $700/day plus a 20% tip Add in a $200 flight, $200 car rental for week, another $150-$200 in food for week and lodging can range anywhere from $300/night on Marco Island or much cheaper hotels off the island at hotels. I usually rent a house in Marco for about $1,500 for the week but certainly no need to spend that much if you go in offseason and stay in Naples area. Split with another guy your looking in and around the $2500-$3000 for the week or around $5,000 solo. You can cut costs fishing 2-3 days but your gonna want that 4th day. Odds increase with weather forecasts and fish activity. We've even had 4 guys go and rent a house and cut down on food, car rental and house and fish 2 guys in 2 boats. If anyone wants more details then feel free to message me.
