Posts: 1430 Location: Eastern Ontario | Well today was your lucky day and everyone in pool 7 as well. When my partner could not fish today I almost went ahead and fished it with my son. To make a long story short I still went out and fished with my 6 year son and within 30 minutes his rod went off like I caught another boat's prop. The little guy reeled that baby all the way back to the boat but once dad saw the size on the beast he helped him out a little bit with the landing process. A little safer as I did not want my kid pulled in or my rod, the fish was 6 inches longer then him. This fish is almost like the snake that I caught in my first matchfishing contest last year and measured out at 54 x 21.5. Weeeeee first legal in my boat this year as we now have a 54 inch limit. What a great first 10 days of the season. For any doughters out there just look at the space between the dorsal/anal fins and tail.
