Posts: 18 Location: Forest Lake, MN | Hi guys, Yesterday I just brought home my new boat complete with a Terrova and Helix 9. This stuff is new to me and I didnt realize I need a card to get the maps. I have about $1,000 in Cabelas gift cards so I will be headed back in to get one tomorrow. That being said which card to I want? I live in MN in the metro area and fish there a lot, I also have a cabin near Rice lake WI if that makes a difference in suggestions.

Posts: 119 | I've always used the lakemaster plus chips and been satisfied. I would suggest both a Wisconsin and Minnesota. Not sure if there is a combo out there.

Posts: 32 | Guys I see there are two slots in the Helix. Can I leave my WI chip in and also throw in the Canada chip in at the same time when I head north in a month? Or are the two slots for just copying or downloading? Thanks. Jeff

Jeff Pretty sure you can put both cards in and just select between the two in settings.

Posts: 32 | ok another question. I don't see a Canada lakemaster card. I see Rainy and LOW but nothing else. Thinking Lac Seul, Cedar and some of the others in the area. Am I just missing it? I ran Navionics in my HDS7s and they had all those waters. Do I have to go Navionics? I am running Lakemaster Plus for Wisconsin and MInnesota. I assume I can run either.

Jeff Pretty sure you can put both cards in and just select between the two in settings. you can run the two at the same time. set your chart to lakemaster slot and turn on autochart live. if autochart doesnt show up, pull out the zero lines card until a box pops up saying its going to internal, then plug her back in and a screen will say all internal data has been moved to the card. i run autochart over my lakemaster mn chip.
