| Just wondering what are the best lenses for cloudy day situations. I just bought a pair of salt break costas blue lens which says are best for the very sunny days and they are amazing but today on tonka in verly clear water spots I had a very hard time with my eyes playing tricks on me or if there was a fish I know I had 7 for sure follows when the sun was shining that I tried my best to catch on the 8 but I know there were more when the clouds were thick and was constantly taking the glasses of and putting them trying to see the best I could any input would help thanks! |

| Cloudy is relative... Blue Mirror/Grey base, great for sunny. Green mirror/amber base if there's light clouds. Dark clouds/low light, H3O clear lense. I'm not sure about yellow lenses, so someone else will chime in on those. Similar post in Tackle/Equipment.

Location: Kodiak, AK | I like amber/bronze for cloudy or overcast. I've even gotten to where I wear them in bright sun during the day and they roll right into the sunset low light hours.

Location: Metro | I have amber and enjoy them on sunny and semi sunny days. When it gets cloudy sometimes it gets a little too dark for my taste. Especially if the water is dirty. |

Agreed. I have great vision, except for reading now, and Costas with the amber base in 580 glass are not near as good in low light/cloudy conditions as the H3Os for me. That said, the H3O amber or grey don't come close to Costas in amber or grey base with the 580G for me in sunny or light clouds. I can't wear the green mirror in bright skies all day, my eyes feel it by 2.
Did you get to use those new Kaenons yet Brad? My H3Os fell overboard, right after I thought I need a strap for them... So, I'd be interested in your opinion before re-ordering.

| Does anyone have a suggestion on which H3O model to purchase for someone with a fat head. Anything that is too tight tends to lead to headaches and discomfort which leads to me not using them. |

The H3O Rage is bigger and they give a little.

I asked this question to H3o directly. They said the Ice is popular amongst the big head crowd and the Rage as well. I don't live near a dealer, so he said I could order both and send either or both back if I didn't like them. |

| I've always used Amber for just about everything, exceptional shallow water lenses. But that being said, on overcast days fishing the flats in Florida, my uncle handed me his pair of yellow lenses....what a difference! Fish came up as black spots against a yellow background. Incredible low light visibility. I'll be getting a pair soon for sure... |

Location: midwest | In low light conditions I like costas sunrise lense. They are good for first light, very cloudy/ rainy
Conditions and just after sunset. They provide good glare reduction and allow for sharp contrast in low light conditions. |

| Check out the Smith Optics Igniter lens. I got turned on to those last fall steelhead fishing on the Perre Marquet on an overcast day. They work. |
