OK, so i have got conflicting advise...so, can anyone help set me straight?
I will now be running two 12 volts, running parrell, for my trolling motor..my question is, from the charger, do i run the postive and negative to the same battery, or run the positive to one battery and the negative to the other?? I might just go ahead get a 3 bank charger, but would like to get by for a little while w/o the 3 bank...(i have an onboard charger) thanks in advance. i have a 12 volt trolling motor.

While running your 12 volt motor, you run positive to positive and negative to negative. From what I've heard, you get more juice that way than if you hook your motor separately to each battery as they discharge.

Charging: From what I've been told, unless you get an onboard charger, you want to charge them separately. Apparently, it takes longer to charge two in parallel with one charger.

I have a battery site link on my website with an 800 number if you need questions answered. To get there, go to my "clickable link" below, then to Musky links. Scroll down and you will see it under "electronics." Tom
