Hey all,
Was out Friday-Sunday (Have to work today unfortunately)
Here's what I saw:

Water Temp: 73-76F
Water clarity: Very Clear except for the channel leading to the backwaters.
Weeds: Lots of good "cabbage" beds developing this year, Lots of floating slop/prop ripped clumps all over the lake, not just the NE side where the wind was blowing.

Fishing:
Got one, moved lots of others (including the biggest one I've ever seen). Definately getting into a more summer like pattern but still hanging deeper too. Still interested in Gliders and big rubber jigged off the deep side of the boat while working a break/weedline.

General:
CO's are out, make sure you have your liscence and required gear, they'll be checking while watching for the jackwagons acting recklessly.
Speaking of Jackwagons, they were out but not as thick as in years past.

All around nice weekend, nice to get some decent weather for a change this year. My only problem was boat control, but you can't fish off a pontoon boat in 13-20mph winds without them. Dusk and Dawn had lighter winds and fewer recreational boaters and the fish were following.

HTH,
RandalB

I've been told it depends on the Thermocline, Webster supposedly has dissolved O2 issues when the water gets really warm- makes fishing hazardous to the Muskies. The water goes anoxic below 15' in warm weather and historically, the water temps can be near 80 at that depth if it's hot enough. This is all info I've been told by guides out there.

As far as fish activity, no idea. Didn't see water temps over 78 last year and the fish were active all summer.

No idea what the current temps are, I haven't had a chance to get out since Memorial day. I'll be out Wednesday of next week and I'll post an update.
