Location: Oswego, IL | If I had 100yrds of #20 mono backing put on my Tranx, how much 80lb cortland master braid (supposed to be 18lb diameter) would then be on my reel if it was spooled up?
Woud I be less than 100yrds of braid? I am afraid I do not have enough..

| If you have about 1/4 of an inch left to fill on your spool when you begin putting on your braid you'll use about 100 yards of 80-100lb braid to get a full spool. |

| I just went through this. I used a line counter so I know my numbers are pretty accurate.
100 yds 20 lb mono and 100 yds 100 lb PP filled reels pretty much perfectly. Maybe a tad too much.
With 18 lb braid you will have over 100 yards. |

Location: Oswego, IL | Thanks, problem was I didn't spool it this time myself, I had BPS do it while I was shopping with my boy, when i picked it up i said "I at least have 100 yrds of braid right?" He said I don't think so" That just got me thinking and I really dont feel like stripping it just to check.. however i can't stop thinking about it so i just might.. |

Location: Minnesota | Give one end to your boy and tell him to start running. When he hits the end you will know how much you have plus the line will be put on tight |
