How does the winch compare to the Nacl? I've had a Nacl and love it, it is down and I need to replace it ASAP! Can't find a 51 in the left hand model.

The Winch is slower but makes pulling in big blades easier. So it's going to depend upon your application as to if it fits your need.

The winch is super slow, but is a great reel, and still think you are able to get installed an other gearing by calling ABU.

The winch is a couple inches per turn slower, and has a different handle that the NaCl. What broke on your NaCl? They're easy to fix

If you are looking to buy a reel, I would look at the new revo toro s

I also had Nacl, 61 tough. Liked it as well but for some reason drag would not engage after backing off for storage, twice in a row. So I called Abu trying to repair it at my cost and after a bit of persuasion they send me a new Revo Toro S since they no lonher carry Nacls. Love it and highly recommend it. No more issue with a stiff thumb bar and casts a mile(hit couple of trees first time out). You can get them for $190 on Ebay. I would recommend going with bigger 61 because its narrower than Nacl. It only comes with a power handle but its really comfortable. At first tought about getting paddle handle from beast but no longer see a need for it.

The levelwind is not functioning. I am not the type to tear into this stuff myself. I contacted PIKEMASTER about working on it for me. Thanks for the replys guys!

Winch was to slow for me but had a lot of power. I had all my winches retrieve ratios increased to 5:4:1. Same as toro series. Easy up grade about $30.00
