Posts: 1039 | I Ball has no wires. It has a magnetized base that sits on my hitch. Camera is on a swivel mount and I have it pointed right at my hitch. Receiver unit goes into the cigarette lighter power port and has a flexible cable so I can get it just right for viewing. Takes about 30 seconds to get setup to back the truck up. Lines up perfectly every time. About the only little issue I had was with rollback with the truck. Things looked perfect on the camera, so I put the truck in park, then it rolls back 3 inches or so and now I'm too far. So, I just had to learn how to compensate for that. Very easy. I can see where it could have a lot of other uses as well. Very nice little unit that is very easy to use. Thank you, Steve, for posting this out there months ago. Because of this thread I got one and it works perfectly.

Posts: 18 | I get it. It is definitely a great idea. Quick and easy to setup, and helps line it all up straight on. The older I get the tougher it is to move a heavier boat around to the hitch especially on any sort of incline.

Of course I can, but getting the trailer and hitch lined up exactly the first time will be nice, especially on the car hauler and snowmobile trailer. X2 Glad somebody said this.....

Posts: 229 Location: Tinley Park, IL | I was just talking to a coworker today. She and her husband just bought a 20-something foot pleasure boat with a dual axle trailer. They are first time boat owners and own a place in Krivitz just off the lake so they will always be launching. I recommended this device to them since they will need all the help they can get. I also gave them advice about not tying up the launch, ect. ect. I just know it is people like this that will make your blood pressure rise especially when you see their IL plates.
