Little off topic but I got moved up to brainerd for my job. Was wanting to try Millie lacs for so e smallmouth when I opens until musky time. Any tips or general areas to hit up. Basically was just going to hit some rock reefs and go from there. Thanks and is almost musky time!!!

For smallies, I like the east side better. 2 & 3 mile are great along with agate. I would just concentrate on fishing really shallow rock.

I believe he is talking about smallmouth right now. I would think that they share many of the same spots, however.

Reading comprehension would go a long way, here!

Now, the smallies...I'd hit up the south end, any of the islands/rock reefs. Put in at Isle, motor your way out and start fishing. I've always liked fishing down that way as it's been out of the wind and relatively easy to find a good looking spot.
