Posts: 72 | Try to decide between those two. Could get the Flambeau for half the price of the lakewood. What would be your choice and why? Thanks

Posts: 574 | I have a few lakewoods that are 8 years old or more and I stand on them sometimes.. Highly doubt the other you mention would still be in one piece.. Maybe they're nice, Not sure really.. But the lakewood is a quality product, and usually that does cost more

Posts: 72 | Thanks Jason, had some lakewoods in my hand and the quality is really good. The price for a medium here in europe is pretty brutal (about 300 bucks), but it seems the Flambeau is no real alternative. Christian

Posts: 337 Location: Watersmeet, Michigan | I have Lakewood, Plano, and Flambeau. They all work fine, though the Plano is a bit too light. Fr. K

Posts: 245 Location: Madison | If you need a box to stand on get a lakewood, if you are just looking for tackle storage some plano boxes in a tackle bag are nice option. check cabelas website for the bags.

Posts: 251 | It might be worth contacting Bob. He might be able to ship over to you. I am sure it adds costs though.

Posts: 72 | The problem I have with the justencase boxes is, that they have no side pockets for small plastic containers. I will stay with lakewood. Thanks

Posts: 72 | The monster is really cool, but way to big for me. The medium is just fine

If you are looking for tackle storage that you can stand on, then your options would be a lake woods or a just encase. I’m on my 4th season now with my Flambeau Maximizer Cube, I’ve had no issues with it, and I really like the built in storage pockets and tool organizers. My only complaint about it is that I wish it were a little taller, but it’s never prevented me from having what I wanted on the water, then again I don’t carry 12” plus cranks.

Posts: 28 | I've had both and throw my vote in for the Lakewood. I had two issues with the flambeau, the hooks would often get caught in the dividers and the stitching started to come apart on the seams on a side pocket. Plano boxes in a tackle bag is nice especially if you have a lot of smaller lures or want to switch out boxes for certain situations.
