Rhinelander Muskie League produced only two fish tonight, but one was a 381/2 Norm put in the boat. that's two weeks in a row Sue lost a good one on a topwater and Norm stuck his. Next week it's Sue's turn!

Hancock, Oneida, and Crescent lakes were the targeted waters. Most of the boats saw fish, but they were not willing enough. This is a great time. Like bowling, but a heck of alot more fun!

Congratulations goes out to Norm, but this is getting frustrating. I feel as if I get to stir the pot for the rest and then someone comes in right behind and sticks one. John Stellflue did it to me with his 45" last week and now Norm did it this week. Different baits you ask? Nope, both times I was throwing the exact same thing as these guys. I guess my day to shine was Friday afternoon. I would have rather had those fish last night. But like Steve said, this IS a great time! Guarantees you at least 4 hours a week on the water chasing big toothy.

Oh, by the way, any fellow musky leaguers in here, my wife says to just fish right behind me from now on, you should do very well. I love her to death, but man she can really knock a guy down, lol.

Congrats again to Norm. Things are really tightening up at the top of the league. Man this stuff is fun.

After league Chuck explained to a T right where I stuck that fish. He had fished it just shortly before me. Just goes to show that sometimes the blind squirrel theory does hold. I am seriously contemplating just fishing behind Chuck all night next week, whatever he's doing seems to be waking them up. By the way Chuck, what lake will you be on next week.

Whew, sure am glad this is a fishing thread! I have met Norm, albeit a great guy, I did not find him hot. Sounds like he is having a great year so far, good deal.:-)

I was wondering why there was so many boats out on Hancock, I managed to boat a 38 and 32 between 7:30 and 8:00 pm on a Pacemaker. I was the one in the Lakeland. Who was in the Tuffy Esox Mag, and the Big Ranger, there was also a Ranger Fisherman.

Way to go Norm! So far Norm is the only guy to double up. His 2 fish have put them in 1st place.

I do have to disagree with Steve though. Norm may be catching fish but he is NOT hot!!!!!

This I remember...the little 1 armed girl at the desk at the motel kept wanting Norm's home phone #, but she thought Troyz was his husband! Guess I could have told her different...:O

Norm doesn't look that bad in a dress, the heels don't work for him though. I am glad he is hot on the water now. Don't worry fellow musky league's participants. After we fish our match event on June 28, he should go fishless for month if history keeps up. Although, he did boat 1 fish at he cave last year, and 5 this year, maybe he is finally not shy about catching some fish with me, maybe he just doesn't trust my netting abilities???? Oh that is Saint I think! Stay hot!! but wait for LOW!!

Good luck

Troyz

The pants suit he wore that Saturday night at Cave Run for sure turned a lot of heads; had he been in a dress I doubt anyone would have been left standing!:O I must say he certaintly does travel well, as the make up kit he had in the boat was as well stocked as any tackle shop I've ever been in. Just goes to show you how looking good both on/off the water can make or break a man, and the many benefits that follow. I just hope that when he walks down the runway that first time in Paris decked out in a big floppy hat and sequined gown, he will remember us, and how we have encouraged him in his quest for "hotness!"
