I have 54lb thrust motorguide pro series electric trolling motor, i am having issues with the sensitive foot pedal tension and was wondering how i adjust the tension so it takes more pressure to move it.

Thanks

So i just got off the phone with motorguide about the foot pedal tension! and long story short, there is now foot pedal adjustment however the guy on the phone sent me a pdf outlining how he devised his own tension control! he stated that " the is not a motor guide approved and by doing so could void the warranty! If you want this pdf file let me know

There is a spring on the cable under or at the front of the foot pedal. Each has a nut on it that can be loosened or tightened. give that a try.
