just bought a new Tranx HG on ebay from Otto's world (austrailia) for $388 shipped. I know they usually bring that or more used here on the buy sell forum so if your looking for one, its a great deal IMO.

Has anyone that ordered one of these from Australia received their reel yet? I was hoping to wait until somone got one before considering buying one and having it shipped over.

I ordered one from sportshiny on ebay on Feb 4th. tracking info finally updated to "shipped" on tuesday. still a waiting game. we'll see what happens!

yes, I got mine from Otto's in about a week. Everything went great with the transaction and I'm probably going to get a PG to go with the HG I bought last month.

I bought an HG from Otto's and after seeing they were out of stock I went to a local big box retailer and asked them to match the $388 price on a PG and they did! If you send me a PM I will tell you which retailer. Either way I now have a new HG and PG and bought both of them for under $400. I seriously considered the 4.9:1 beast for big blades but after throwing a few casts in my pond yesterday I'm not regretting the PG for that application!
