Ok, so I won one of these at our Muskies Inc meeting this winter. Doesn't look like much. Threw it early in the season and was very impressed with the noise, especially when the blade hits the arm...lots of clanging going on.

My question is, the body looks kinda wimpy as well as the trailer tail. Does anyone bulk these up or is everyone having sucess on them the way they come? Looking forward to catching a few on this bait this year!

Cory

Great bait as it is. Bulking it up will enable you to run the bait more slowly and still keep the blades up and chugging. I have tried it both ways and have had most success running w/o modification.

Boggermans are a great bait, excellent in the bulrushes, but they are wimpy as you stated. Jack Shriver Sr. came out with the Hi-Jacker this year. It is basically a beefed up Boggerman. Comes in four different models, some small, some with two blades. Should be a good bait. You can buy them a Reed's in Walker, MN. They have a internet site.

Good luck, Murph
