Does anybody know if when you get a fish in the corner of the eye, not the eye ball itself, if it blinds them. I got a pike all goofy on a reef hawg this weekend that had hooks in both corners of the eye. I know a fish can still thrive blind in one eye, but both would probably mean death and i'd rather just eat the fish. Do these corner hooked blind the fish. Thanks for anyone who knows.

If you don't actually puncture the eyeball, and stay out of the very back of the socket, the damage will be minimal and should heal up just fine.
