| Doesnt seem like there is much talk on jerkbaits this fall.. Any reason for that? |

| I did very well on northerns with small jerkbaits of 9-12cm, all slow sinking and action like a hybrid (flipper, dolphin, striker ...). All fished slow just below the surface so I could see them charge the bait with waves that increased in size as they approached my boat. Scary!! I love it. I read something about fishing them near the bottom with jerkbaits now. I must say most pike now get caught near the surface (mostly 1-1.5m deep when trolling). Strange this time of the year. Do you in the US have the same action from 'skies now? |

| i had like 90% of my follows on a sort of home-made glide bait this last weekend... it didn't trigger any strikes- but it really did get a lot of attention... need to learn how to get those followers to strike... read your article Jason- lots of good tips there... can't wait to give them a try next time i have so many following fish...

| Been moving a ton of fish on the HR as of late.....but nothing on the Bamma, Jerko, Suick, Bobbie or Magic Maker, but then again the HR has gotten the bulk of the water time.
55Starfire, I know the waters where you are getting the follows, and with these fish there is a CERTAIN VERY DIFFERENT way to fig8 to get the fish to go. Email me and I'll let ya in on the secret!

| my summer tactics have been still working, barring a couple fish for my buddy on big jakes. With the cool weather this weekend, my Reef Hawg bite should start soon!!! |

| I threw gliders quite a bit last weekend with nothing. If I had a follow it was way down where I could not see it. |
