| I noticed a new item in the Rollie & Helen's catalog called the Stinson Bucktail Vise. I understand it is used to tie on coils. Has anyone tried this vise? If so, how do you like it? Regards.... |

Location: Gilberts IL/Rhinelander WI | I have used it. It works great. I mainly use it to tie marabou. I bought a lure holder that Stinson sells for painting, it fits in the vice as well. This enables locking the wire down and always tie on the top of the bait.

| I have one. I like it a lot. Holds the coil very secure, and the unit itself is very low profile, so Flash doesn't get all tangled in it. |

| Have you guys tried using the vise with weighted coils? I am referring to the style with the lead button close to one end of the coil, such that there isn't much coil available for the vise to grasp.
Many thanks.... |

| We have had a Rotary Vise out for years. Made for coils with a mandrel to help stiffen the coil. Also has interchangeable cartridges so you can tie treble hooks and jigs and spinnerbaits. Many manufacturers use our vise on their Fine Winding machines. Lower cost also. See our catalog or call us at 715-356-6834.
