So after lots of thought and talking to some good sources--- made the decision to pull the trigger on the new 2016 Skeeter MX1825 with the F-150 Yamaha....

Went with the 2 networked Helix 9s, Ipilot link--Terrova 80lb----9.9 Yamaha Kicker---Folbe rod holders...front butt seat...rails, keel guard....

Hopefully the boat lives up the hype my fishing friends have given it---hoping it is well set up and rigged at pick up---and everything works like its supposed to...

It was close enough in price to the Ranger 1780 with a smaller motor and less than the Lunds I was looking at---and much less than a new Ranger 1880 or 619....similarly equipped...

Looking for the new boat smell and the first Musky of the season----

Spring /Summer is coming...

Im not picking the boat up until July so no pics yet....

Live out of state---only get to fish in MN for 5 weeks a summer.....

Hoping it looks, rides, and fishes sweet though.....I like the pics I have seen of other boats and also seeing them on the water....

Ordered an all gel coat black---with just a little gel red trim.....Something different ...

The hardest part of buying the darn boat was choosing the color---I gave the job to my wife---she could not decide---

Finally I just went to the build your own boat color part of the website---and came up with the black and red---just because I never saw one like it before...

There are literally thousands of color options they give you---its almost too much--paralyzing ......They should just have like 10 of the best selling color options and let you pick from that imo....

And of course whatever color you pick on a new boat---you like the one you didn't pick more----Human nature never takes a break does it lol .....

So true about colors. I looked at every picture of a Tuffy boat online before going with blue and silver. For a long time I thought I was getting a Basscat and I played around a lot with their design-a-boat feature. And over my 2 years of shopping my color preferences changed. For years I always thought I would get a red and white boat but as time went on I changed to blue.

Black/Red will look sharp. (Blackhawks colors!) Make sure you post some pictures when you get it. Congrats on the boat.
