Posts: 10 | Anybody thinking of a new ride for this spring? This may sound too good to be true, but my wife broke the news that due to arthritis in her hands, she wanted me to sell my Esox Mag tiller and buy a new console boat. Needing to keep her happy, I complied and have ordered a new Tuffy 1760 GC from Boulder Marine. it will have a Yamaha 115 4-strock, Hummingbird Onix, Terrova with I-link and a on-board charger. Also had gas fill moved forward. Anyone else getting something new?

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | Congrats on the new Tuffy! I went from an Alumacraft to a 2008 Tuffy 1760 GT this last spring. Awesome boat, you will love the 1760! What color did you order? Tucker

Posts: 1039 Location: North St. Paul, MN | Peanuts compared to the rest of you guys, but I got a new 14ft jon boat w/ 15hp 4stroke Mercury (2014, 5 hours on it). 45lb thrust MinnKota, Humminbird Helix 5 sonar/gps. Both the trailer and boat have been repainted and new tires/wheels upgraded on the trailer. Really excited to take my daughter out musky fishing on some smaller stuff I know I can put her on a fish or two. Also looking forward to some float trips that weren't possible until now.

Leaning towards a F175 since they don't make the SHO in a 25" version. Still need to look at the Lund Pro V 1875 before I decide in the next couple weeks.

Posts: 59 Location: Fifield | I recently picked up a 12' Jon with a trailer. 2 hp Evinrude with the gas tank on top. She runs like a dream and will be getting some rock banging in on the local rivers.

Posts: 1209 | Late last fall I bought a new Z-8 loaded and was fortunate enough to use it a lot, but I can't wait for spring it seems like it's new and un used sitting in the cave waiting to escape

Posts: 1405 Location: Detroit River | I was hoping to upgrade to a used Yar Craft this year but after a drunk driver hit & run on my truck & totaled it out I had to give my son my wife's car instead of my truck so with 2 new car payments, having to save for my daughter's car since she won't be getting my wife's car plus my health insurance changed due to Obamacare I have to pay a lot more out of pocket. Looks like I'll have to put off a bigger boat another 2 - 3 years but if the 2016 fishing season is like last years I'll be giving up fishing & won't need a new boat.

Posts: 279 Location: Central Wisconsin | I too bought a new to me Ranger 681vs late last fall, only got it out once and can't wait for spring to come. Still have to get the new electronics installed (2) gen2 touch units and a Terrova ipilot. Spring can't come soon enough! I'm kinda leary about drilling holes in the new boat, any cheap recommendations for transducer installs?

Posts: 1036 | My "new to me" 619 visited last night. Owner brought it over to make sure it fit the garage. It does. Not by a lot, but by enough. I'll hopefully be getting it rigged up the way I want it shortly, then it will be a long wait before open water is here. Can't wait to get it out and learn how to use everything.
