Have any of you been to both of these in the past which is better and I dont mean for musky I mean overall I plan to go to 1 of them and Chicago is A extra 50 miles is it worth the extra 50 or not

They are both good shows. I assume your talking about the schaumburg show at the end of the month? It is up to you. Both shows will have unique and some of the same stuff. two general outdoor shows that should be a must on your list is the Madison fishing show and the Milwaukee journal sentinel show at state fair park.
