No one has asked yet, I will take the hit. What did everyone get? Besides several lumps of coal, I got a couple general gift cards and some cash. The only fishing related stuff were 4 Okuma coldwater line counters I bought myself.

Gift card to Gander, Gift card to Thorne's, and cash. I also got a lot of smiles from the kids. That was the best gift.

My best gift was seeing my daughter's stunned amazement when she saw Christmas morning that Santa and the reindeer really do eat the snacks and drink the milk left out.

Santa had some humor with us so we continued with the fun. We were curious to get a comparison of how large the queen was on the bump board so we had my niece hop on.

Thats awesome. Has been a longtime since my kids were young, but that kind of thing is a great memory to look back on.

One year we threw the carrots (for the reindeer) in the garbage. My 5 year old (at the time) busted us when he went to throw something in the garbage that morning. I had to scramble for a bit there....

My girls are all grown up as well but those will be great memories for you in years to come. I got a Revo Toro S ($169 on Amazon) and a Garmin graph.

Revo Toro S 60...I give great gifts. 1/2 of a 100 MPH coat in gift cards and the other 1/2 from me. I also got a Clapper from the GF as a stocking stuffer. Cheesy, but that thing is cool at bedtime.

Edit... The GF also got me a Yeti can cooler. No more warm 1/2 of a beer after fishing a spot.

Billy I'm so glad Aden seems to be gaining on this beast.
It was a strange Christmas
Some received much
Some received little
And many lost everything they had
doesn't seem to be a lot of fairness in the world at the moment

You are so right! We worry and fuss about an awful lot of nothing! I pray for strength for you all as you battle this. Health of your loved ones is something taken for granted.

1/2 oz Royal Australian Mint 2016 Year of the Monkey gold bullion coin. doesn't tarnish, doesn't rust, doesn't get technologically obsolete, holds its value over decades, and isn't a burden to next generation when inherited, unlike a garage full of dbl10s. plus pretty to look at while drinking wine.
