I am getting one. But, the evolution and select series are the same price. What's the difference?

I am pretty sure Evolutions were a slight uptick from the Select. They are both the same MI T-tec blanks as the Pro Series for $180 but with cheaper guides and seat/cork. In my opinion the Evolution is a good deal for $100. They load nice and cast great with good backbone and some tip flex. I fish a lot, and have used these rods for the past 5 yrs. They grade out good in my book. They are not super light, but for the money they are a good rod.

I have an evolution that I use as a jerk bait rig that has a quantum exo300 on it. Seems like a good rod for the money.
