Posts: 62 Location: Rhinelander,WI | I just picked up a ranger 619 and want to put a marine band radio in it. Was wondering if anyone has a picture of where yours is mounted and the antenna. Thanks

Posts: 194 Location: Lake Elmo, MN | I don't think I have a photo per se....but my Lowrance radio is mounted in the panel at the console of my Ranger 620. My 620 is a 2008 and there is a space that is sometimes used for GPS, but since I prefer a RAM mounted GPS by the windshield (for easier viewing), I had this space open. It's very convenient and provides for a very nice looking and neat installation with exceptionally easy access to all wiring. I mounted the digital antenna right in front of the driver's side of the windshield on the floor of the front casting deck so that when it is laid down, the antenna lays against the edge of the deck and is neatly out of the way. Hope that helps. If I find a photo I'll post. Edited by PSAGuy 12/28/2015 7:57 PM

Posts: 279 Location: Central Wisconsin | I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I have the same question, but on a 2001 681VS. If anyone has a picture, I'd really appreciate it. Might be similar to the 619 also? Thanks

Posts: 194 Location: Lake Elmo, MN | I am not 100% sure how to post photos here but I'll try. Hopefully I do it correctly. This sort of shows my radio mounted. The radio is in the panel right under the Lowrance. (I currently have an HDS10 Gen2 mounted in the RAM mount, and I moved the HDS8 shown up front to the bow). The radio works well here and I would not change a thing. AS mentioned, if you look very closely through the walkthru, you can see the white antenna laying down along the right side of the casting deck. Hope this helps. CLICK ON IMAGE TO SEE FULL SIZE. Posts: 11 | I have a 2010 619 single console. I used a ram long mount screwed it to the underneath right side of the console (up top where the plywood is) and fished the antenna thru the console on a racket mount. The radio is out of the way I don't whack my knee on it and no unsightly hole in the dash in case there is a oops.
