| I saw a comment on Facebook claiming that a Muskie such as the recent millelacs beauties can be too big for a replica. Something about a mold of that size not being available. I have to imagine that an artist could carve a replica to make such a mold. The gentlemen claimed that it would cost like $10000 for an artist to do this. I truly can't imagine that it would cost that much. Artists carve duck decoys and such with far more detail than a Muskie would need. Thoughts? |

Location: Eastern Ontario | A replica can be made of anything it depends on your ability to pay. Replicas and skin mounts are dust collectors so I'm more than satisfied with a photo. |

| It can be made. The true cost is in the paint jobs. I agree with horse hunter, they are dust collectors. I really never look at mine and don't think much about it when I do. It's a 50 and I've caught bigger but that still wouldn't change me getting another even that Mille lacs pig if I were to catch it. Just my opinion though. Pics and memory is better. |
