| hi Todd, I make slowrising hybrid divers (14cm and 18cm) which dive to about 1m (14cm) and 1.5m (18cm, has three trebles) and turn in every direction thinkable except backwards! For gliders I make them left-right swimming and mostly suspending and a little faster sinking for casting from a drifting boat. I''ve experienced that hangtime does matter for gliders. They include fishshaped gliders of 15cm, cobb''s gliders in 13cm and 15cm, and a very small hybrid of 9cm which looks like a tiny roach or perch. Has caught nice northerns last time. I notice a lot of tiny baitfish apear near the winter and they (northerns) chase these fish. No spinner, other types of jerkbaits, twisters, shads, ... can lure them into taking it. I spray colors with spray cans but they have been mistaken for airbrush (though I''m not an artist I admit). I can send some pics but mention your e-mail if you will. If you have some patience, some of my jerkbaits will be used in a lottery in three two weeks time and then I''ll have a very nice picture (taken with a digital camera) of them.
For colors: I mainly spray chartreuse tiger (chartreuse body, green specks and black firetiger-stripes), roach (gold or silver scales with green or black back and red throat) firetiger, perch (yellow belly or white belly), golden perch (golden flanks, black stripes, red belly and dark green back, super for clear waters), hotpink belly/silver scales on the flanks/black back, walleye (yellow flanks, golden scales over it/brown bars and back/white belly and orange throat. If you have a favourite, I can try to paint it. Just describe it to me or send me a picture in that color.
I have some extra pics on the computer which I will send you if you want. Catch ya later! |
