Was up Fri, Sat & Sun to take the dock out and winterize cabin. Friday ESE and windy and rainy. Sat south wind warmed up into the 60s. Sun morning frost warmed and wind picked up mostly from the north. Fishing was tough. Crystal clear water and surface temp is about 52. Walleye are still very deep - 35 to 40 foot.

Friday about 2:30 lost a low 40s fish from 15 fow on sharp break. Sat/Sun skunk.

We pounded the 15 foot break with little to show. We moved out and trolled 20' and 30' with deeper stuff. Even worked over 50' for a while.

Whats the consensus? Try and catch any active fish up shallow or try for the deeper fish near the walleye schools?

I think it was tough this weekend.

I fished a clear water lake not far from you. I was dragging suckers in 18-25 fow, and casting some. Fished from 9 till 6 on Saturday and did not see a fish. I had been doing all right on that lake previously as well.
