Weather was HOT and sunny and pretty still....not condusive to anything but a morning/evening bite.
Got a 46 1/2"er on Big Sand Sat @ 8 AM.
Becky moved a couple of nice fish on bucktails and I had a mid-40 try to eat a Beaverturd, but it ran out of room and decided that it didn't like the boat. All the fish we saw were stout mid 40's. Good to see them.
Mid-day was unproductive, except for some steak lunches and some awesome naps.
Two other guys at the motel got a 45" on Friday at dark on a creeper, and they were moving fish in the morning and evening also, mostly on bucktails.
Water temps were 69 at sunrise and 75 plus by sundown.
