Location: Michigan U.P. | I am doing research for a purchase this winter and was hoping someone running a Ranger 1780 could give me a review on how it handles and what your overall opinion of the boat is. I am looking at the single console with an Etec 135. If possible I would appreciate measurements on the front casting deck.

Location: Tinley Park, IL | I'm not an owner but I when I was at a Ranger dealer, I was very impressed with the 1780. Extremely wide and roomy. With the flipdown rear deck feature, it makes a great fishing platform for both anglers.
Really wish the boat was 18' rated for a 150. The 135 is said to push it in the high 40s while the 115 is said to get low 40s. I have an internet friend who is getting one this fall and he is supposed to give me a review after he takes it out a couple times. If I were looking for a 17' deep V this is definitely the boat I'd get. If they made it in a 18' with a 150, it might be my next boat. Good luck.

finish inside this boat looks pretty good ... not my cup of tea but looks like a pretty well designed boat that will get out of the hole and run at a nice cruising speed. |

| The fit and finish is better than all other aluminum boats out there. Minus Pro v 1875 Lund Bass/ Muskie boat that is not out yet.I've looked at every Brand in detail.Am impressed with Ranger Tin .The Only beef is virtually no storage.If you upgrade to two good graphs ,Kicker motor and 135 E-Tec your looking at low 40's.

Location: Michigan U.P. | The price I was quoted with the 135 Etec, Terrova 80 with I pilot, 7in gen 3 on the console and 5in chirp up front was $32,500. Single console.

| Same as mine.add cover.9.9 merc remote kicker.Had Hum 859 on bow and lowrance elite 9x on dash.Don.t forget dealer prep,tax and destination charge. I wonder if a 115 HO E-Tec is enough juice? 42 K

Location: Lake Elmo, MN | For $32k I'd sure consider a lightly used 619 or 620 instead unless you have a real preference for that rig.
Should be able to pick up a nice 5-7 year old 619 with maybe a 225 for around $30-$35k. You could grab a 2007-2008 620 for around those bucks as well.
