Posts: 88 Location: Wisconsin | Sitka Gear Ascent pants. Expensice at full price. But can usually find decent deals. Somewhat wind/rain resistant. Plus they stretch. Very comfortable. Easy to layer underneath too. Tom

Posts: 925 | I have several pair of zip off pants that turn into shorts. Nylon for the warmer days and thicker canvas for the cooler days. I bet I have 8 pairs of zip offs. That's all I fish in.

Posts: 489 | That's exactly why I didn't want jeans or military pants. I spent 7 years in the military and know the strengths and weaknesses of the uniform lol. Thanks for everyone's replies. I have decided to try a pair of HUK fishing gear pants. I will post a review after I test them. They were about $65 which I've found to be on the lower end for fishing/ outdoors pants.
