No frozen ducks or geese into the USA according to the border patrol. Should just about eliminate waterfowl hunting this year.

You are welcome to bring anything you can carry over the wall that Scott Walker plans on building.

Yes.

Poultry is okay as long as it is fully cooked. Eggs are not. Plan on losing either one should you try.

last year there wasn't bird flu in Iowa and Mn.

No ducks or Geese can enter US from Canada? How will they stop them, armed drones? Don't they fly down every year about October?

You can bring in eggs...you just have to tell them you have them and pay a duty.

That's what guys in my group did last month

Curious why you would want to bring eggs with you when a 18pk in Canada cost about 2.75 U.S. right now?

There's not always an opportunity to grocery shop up there depending on where you go

Eggs are restricted. All avian flu restrictions are still in place for uncooked poultry.

Anyone who claims they declared them and paid duty either proved they originated from a state that did not have any HPAI outbreaks or had a rookie CBSA officer that did not know what they are doing.

You will be turned around at the border with eggs in 99.9% of cases.

Migratory game birds (Ducks and geese) are allowed to cross from Ontario to the USA as of Aug 25. I got this from a contact at the USDA and then confirmed with the Baudette, MN port of entry.

As of last report, grouse and inland birds were still restricted.

Last I heard your can't bring in eggs or any uncooked poultry as Justin said. Never heard of a duty on food going into Canada?

There's a nice little grocery store in Sprague (Carl and Kays) that has lots of great food at reasonable prices, Their chicken breasts are some of the best I've ever had. Try the Canadian Rye bread also it's great.

August fishing was great, slower so far in September. Starting to troll.

Canadian Rye is fantastic. I bring several loaves home each trip up.

Bueno bars are also a favorite. Canadians have it made!

Just got back from a week stay to Canada. I read about the ban of eggs and poultry so we didn't bring any. We were never asked about eggs or poultry going to or from Canada. We were only asked about alcohol, firearms and tobacco. Two boats same questions. We crossed at international falls.

We brought hard boiled eggs in August. They asked about them and when we told them they were cooked they said that's fine.

Interesting to hear grouse are restricted. Hopefully they lift that one, I was hoping to shoot some sharpies on our duck/goose trip in October.

Canadian eggs have serial numbers on each egg and seem to be fresher and better quality than American store bought eggs.

It has been about 50% wether or not they ask about poultry this summer, I cross every week.
We did have a case of egg beaters confiscated.

We crossed at Fort Francis in Aug and stopped and bought eggs and they were very reasonable. Just stop and buy some at the grocery store and then you don't have to worry about it.
