| I have quite a few fluorocarbon leaders that are 3-4 years but never used. Theyve been stored in a tackle box in the garage. Do you think they're ok to use still? They're the crimped ones from Thorne bros in I think 100lb test.

Location: Manitowish Waters WI | Fluoro carbon has a half life of 5,000 years, it does not break down with time like mono. As long the crips and snaps are in good condition and no nicks or abrasions on the leader itself it will be good. Fluoro does not break down in UV from the sun either. |
