Location: Chicago | Please help, I am planning on renting a boat at Shabby this weekend fishing between noon and 7pm. There is no way the lil lady will get up very early to go fishing, but beer drinking is fine during the afternoon. The problem I heard water clarity is about 3 inches, more like Chocolate Milk.
My other option is to rent a boat on the chain, however I need to have the boat back by 6pm. Not sure how the water clarity is on the chain?
Should I plan on fishing the evening bite (somewhat) until 7pm? on Shabby or take my chances on the chain.
Any and all thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks

Location: Minneapolis, MN | Marie still a little dirty but Bluff had was surprisingly clear last weekend. The yahoos will be out in full force this weekend I dunno how happy you will be on the chain if your rental boat is small. |

Location: oswego, il | Shabbazoo is just that. The weekends are nuts and full of idiots. The clarity is never much more than 3" on a good day anyway, I am sure the rain has made it even worse. I live 45min from it and it's the last place I would pick to fish.
I would goto the fox chain or sterling. Rentals at both places.
