Posts: 3910 | Ha! It's about 2:00am and I just returned for a quick 2 hours on Badwater. Water temps 58-59*. Came in to sleep a couple hours, eat, than off to lake X, which can't be fished at night. I'm off work tomorrow and Friday to fish with Essox Maniac and Bullhead. The moon is excellent!! Just you wait. Shoot me an e-mail and let me know where you might be going, eh? (I'm off to a map to look at M-95.)

Posts: 185 Location: Pound, WI | I actually live an hour south of Iron Mountain in Pound, WI. But I'm up in Aurora quite a bit as my parents live here and we have land here. My in-laws also live in IM. So you might say I'm pretty familiar with the territory. Brian

Posts: 3910 | Hi Brian and Slayer - I'm just back on line. OleeJeeze, what a marathon for the opener. 31 hours in the first 3 days of season. Badwater, Paint River Pond, Lake X and Lake Y. It's 3:00am and I got up to take some tylenol. Hope Al got home ok, he had a 4 hour drive after 12 solid hours of casting. One fish for me and two for Al Warner, who came up for Friday and Saturday. Al's were nice, a 39.5" and a 41". I had 3 other follows, all arond 40", and we drifted over a real nice mid-40"s fish. I wonder if the wife will let me go out tomorrow (today)?
