Posts: 143 Location: Kentucky | I was wondering if someone could tell me what ramp the PMTT on the Cave will be launching out of? Do they use one ramp or can you launch from any ramp? The reason I am asking is that I plan on going down on Saturday for awhile and I don't want to get caught up in a bunch of traffic. I did pretty well this Saturday, right before the cold front moved thru. I caught a 34 incher, lost another about the same and had about three other follow's from some bigger fish. All within and hour. Thanks

Posts: 143 Location: Kentucky | Thanks musky99. I'm not going to put you right on my fish, but Mike H. did give me some good info concerning Gregg Thomas. So, I can tell you that I am still finding the fish on the laydown's. In the major and minor coves. They were right on the bank the other day, we have had some rain and the water was up about a foot and a half. Assuming that the don't pull the lake real hard it should be the same. In my opinion the weedbeds aren't going to good just yet. I tried afew of them, and didn't even move a fish. Now some of the other guys I talked to said fish the weedbeds. Hope this helps. I'm going to be out there in the middle of you all, so don't run over a small v-hull tracker. LOL

Posts: 392 Location: KY | RiverMusky I was thinking about fishing this weekend until I heard about the PMTT. Would it be possible to stay out of the way by putting in at Popping rock or Bangor? It would take a long time for a competitor to get that far up the river through all those stumps. Good luck this weekend. Bruce

Posts: 143 Location: Kentucky | Hey Bruce, yeah that would probably work. I haven't had a chance to get down in the river area much. I have a buddy that run's the Kentucky Angling website, and he said the water looks great down in that area. He also ties into some big ones down there. I hate to fish strange water right now though. I think I am just going to jump right in the middle of them all. Even though they all are professional's, I'm not feared to go right behind them and show them up. LOL I am only going to be able to go from 5pm until dark anyway. I just hope they don't run over me and my little boat. Let me know how you do. On second thought you may be on to something. I'm going to talk to my buddy and see if he can give me any specific's on that area and I will get back with you. I think I still have you e-mail somewhere. CPR Chris
