I was up fishing out of Flag Island August 10-15, two guys in the boat. Got 7 the first day up to 46.25, 3 the second day (lost another 3), 5 the third day up to 47(lost another 3), 1 the fourth day - 43" (flat calm and 90 sucks...), 2 the fifth day (lost another two including a 46ish), and 5 the last day up to 47. All on blades, lots of fish caught in the hour before and after sunset. If you're going in before it's pitch black out you're missing a prime opportunity right now. Only saw one 50, which was weird...but got 23 in the boat in basically 5.5 days of fishing.

good trip Chris, we were up the 1st week of Aug.. 26 in the boat with 2 50s, 11 lost and 4 other hit and miss. Hot baits for us were 8s, 9s, and 10s mainly Chartreuse blades.... only 2 hits on topwater
