| Matt's reel repair has this:
https://squareup.com/market/mathew-hegy/calcutta-d?square_lead=item_...
Daves's has this:
http://www.davesreelservice.com/pages/power-handle-upgrade.php (at bottom of page)
I am leaning to getting the one from Dave's as its longer. Anyone have any experience? I prefer the smoothness of the D over the TE I have, but the cranking power of the TE w/power handle over the D.

Location: Grand Marais, MN | looks the the one from Matt's is the same handle shaft as the original handle. so in terms of getting a "power handle" I dont think you would notice a difference with this handle, unless it is a bigger knob you are looking for. same handle length means same torque provided you apply the same amount of force.

| It is longer(not as mutch as the second handle), its just made so it does not look like an aftermarket product. |

| I have been using the ones from Dave's now for 1.5 years, in fact I think I received one from his first batch. It works great. I have it on a rod (H Predator) that I toss smaller bucktails with and I think it does a great job... |

| Thanks all that have responded. I had a tranx hg but sold it because it was uncomfortable after several hours palming it for 10's and 13's(dont like holding foregrip). I have thought about swapping 300d gears. If I get the longer handle at daves which will decrease my IPT slightly but give me better leverage I will need to do the gear swap to really benefit IMO. I think I will leave it alone for now as it will start to add up to to much money. |

| The handle length don't have anything to do with the IPT. |
