Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | From The Water OFM Day One Reports! 1) As of 9:00 this morning the fishing has been really good. Anglers are contacting fish. 2) We are hearing rumors of fish over 50 inches and many fish being caught. Word from around the lake is one team has already doubled. 3) Seems like one of the most exciting starts, reports are coming in from all over multiple doubles already rumors of a triple more than one over 50 many 45+ inch fish being rumored to be caught. 4) There's a 30 inch size limit that the PMTT uses and the majority of the Muskies being boated seem to be well over 40 inches. 5) Reports are coming in from all over nonstop since the start of the tournament. Rumors of a lot of quality fish coming in seems to be many mid to upper 40 inch fish a couple of teams have already doubled. 6) The bite won't stop today, the whole day has been a major window, continued rumors and reports of doubles, triples, even hearing of quads, 7) Rumors of a giant, all time record amounts and size fish coming in down the day1 stretch.

Posts: 118 | I just saw a rumor on Facebook that someone bagged a 57 1/2" fish... If that's true, we'd better see some pictures!!!

Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | What an unbelievable day one! There was a total of 55 muskies caught today just two shy from the one day record 57 muskies caught on the Eagle River Chain a few years ago. Believe it or not it took a giant 57.5''er caught by Kory Kosek and Chris Case to hold 10th place. WOW!!! Pictures from today will take a while the internet and cell signal is very slow. When we receive them from the PMTT I will up load more. Top Five 1st- Andrew and Robert Judnick with a 43.75, 46.25, 48.25', and a 50.75'. 2nd- Mike Lee and Ryan McMahon with 39.75, 40.75, 44.5, and a 45. 3rd- Brian Fitzpatrick and Jason Long with a 32.25, 35.5, 36, 39.75, and a 44.25. 4th- Matt Snyder and Connor Cusack with a 44.5, 45, 46. 5th- Jeff Anderson and John Hoyer with a 42.25, 45, and a 46. Location: varies | I was under the impression Big V was in the decline for musky as Ive heard/read over the last couple years??? From the board, most fish seem to be mid 30's to mid 40's. I would say it looks prime from the fish caught. Very fishy day and I bet today will be similar. Now this is what tournaments should be! 57.5 WOW indeed.

I fished it all last week including yesterday morning and never boated a fish. Had multiple big big fish to the boat but lost every one in the 8. I need to learn how to do a proper 8 if there is such a thing. Edited by wisskie 8/8/2015 8:15 AM
