Do any of you guys that fish the 9.5" Shadzillas cut off the top hook? Did doing so help you land more fish?

i throw it everytime im out and dont get any strikes or follows.

Probably wouldn't hurt to cut it but I haven't had it interfere with any fish I've caught on the bait and have only lost one fish on the zilla and top hook wasn't to blame.

Lost a decent fish last night on one at boat side. Last fall I watched the guys fishing the shore at Bell River using the Shadzilla & they were out fishing the guys in boats about 4 to 1. Though I also seen some of those same shore guys putting musky in garbage bags.
