Anyone have any experience making their own rod leashes? I would like to make some so I don't have to worry about losing all of my gear while its in the rod holder. Would like any advice or pictures of your rod leash setups and how you did it! Thanks guys!

You must have been watching Musky Hunter actually that show was a repeat from about 3 years ago. If you send me your email I can send you a picture of the leashes I made 3 or 4 years ago and never use. Never figured out the picture posting. Basically you take nylon coated cable and put a snap on each end with a loop and a cable crimp or joiner. You can snap to some larger reels or form a circle of cable which is placed around the reel foot before it is placed in the reel seat. I used mine for about 2 outings and didn't like em.
