I am looking someone to guide me on the Eagle River chain for one day July 19-22. I already contact Mat Hegy, but he was not available. Any recommendations for a good guide?

Thanks!
Greg

Rob Manthei has never failed to put us on fish.

Highly recommended

Contact Jeff Van Remortel, he is the best guide in vilas and Oneida in my opinion. His number is (920) 639-6286

+1 to Rob. But have a backup plan as I know that Rob is very busy and may not have an opening to get you on the water.

Go with Van Remortel. The guy is always putting people on fish. Not small ones either. I remember a tiny 52 inch tiger his group boated last year.

That tiger was one impressive fish. Crazy how it came into the net, too. I don't know that I've seen a prettier fish in a long, long time.

Ranger Rick Krueger @ 715-477-2248. He knows those waters like the back of his hand. He will put you on fish and is a blast to fish with.
