| I fish 100% trubutaries to the st lawrence. Anybody have any pionters on topwater bites in small rivers. Bait style? Size? Color? |

| Not a topwater, but Flowage Boas are the skinny-water champs for blades! |

Location: Madison, WI | Lee Lures mini choppers are great, smaller profile with good thump.
Black, or black.. |

Location: Minnesota. | I'd opt for the simple little Cisco Kid. Two props, simple to cast and takes fish nicely.
I'm not a "color-worrier" so, any color as long as it's black or close! ....*grins*

| I use top prop baits if rough or choppy and usually toss a WTD (viper has been my favorite) when its flat/calm. black and orange is all I toss for toppers. |

| I fish small rivers too.
Creeper or wobbler type baits are winners.
