Anyone got one? Not looking for anything overly expensive, just a cheap clear plastic one (not justencase.....great product but likely outside my "budget").

I realize this is not what you are asking for, but if you stopped at a local plumbing shop, they would probably give you scrap pieces of PVC pipe for free.

It would be pretty easy to put together.

FYI New Lakewoods are about 80 and Just Encase is 125. People spend that much on a couple baits so I wouldnt say they are that expensive.

I know, but being the cheap guy I am I can't fathom paying $80, let alone $125 for....literally a box. I've seen some made out of downspouts that cost around $15 to make, I'm tempted to do that but hate making stuff!

I ended up going the downspout route myself because I also couldn't fathom paying 80+ for one, and also because this way I had a little more control over the size of the tubes. It's not pretty, but it works.

Try Ben Thome on Facebook. He is in Stevens Point wisconsin. He makes some out of PVC and I bought one from him. Nice and heavy and work great.

$8 will get you a 10' piece of white square plastic downspout that works great for a pedestal bait holder.
