Location: Otsego, MN | Hi guys,
Just switched out from Lowrance to Humminbird. I'm wondering what you all like better in the units? The Lake Master MN chips or the Navionics. I have one Navionics already that I used in my Lowrance Units, but was wondering what you prefer? I'm sure it may depend on Lakes I fish though for which one is better than the other.
Mostly fish Minnetonka when in the cities.
The units are 1199 and 1159.
Thanks |

Location: Minnesota | I run both the lake maps up front nav at the wheel. I have the link witch hooks every thing together so you need the lake maps for follow the conture . They both work it's how you want to use them. |

Location: MN | I have run the Hummingbird Lakemaster chips ever since they came out.
Like the ability to change offset and color shallow water and a depth range.

| /\ /\ /\ What he said. You will like the high def maps, most are spot on, but the maps that are not high def are off with the contures. |

Location: Waukee, IA | Lakemaster is way more detailed on the lakes I have that overlap between Navionics and Lakemaster. Nacionics has more lakes per $ spent. Each has a trade-off, whatever you find more important I guess. |

| I run Lowrance, but I was lucky enough to get two of the Lakemaster chips that still work in the Lowrance.
I run the Lakemaster instead of the Navionics because two lakes in particular I fish up north are in HD on the Lakemaster and not on the Navionics.
